How to cite us
Since Spring 2026, our new results are archived on Zenodo with permanent DOIs, which must be used to cite specific measurements.
DOIs for specific results are listed in the WG pages and you can find all of them in our Zenodo community.
We recommend citing our latest global paper [Phys. Rev. D113, (2026) 012008] and adding the DOI(s) of the specific result(s) you used.
For example, if you are using a number from this specific Zenodo record [https://zenodo.org/records/19446771], use:
"S. Banerjee et al., Averages of b-hadron, c-hadron, and tau-lepton properties as of 2023, Phys. Rev. D113, (2026) 012008, arXiv:2411.18639, with specific result from doi:10.5281/zenodo.19446771."
As BibTeX entry:
@article{HFLAV:2024ctg,
author = "Banerjee, Sw. and others",
collaboration = "Heavy Flavor Averaging Group (HFLAV)",
title = "{Averages of $b$-hadron, $c$-hadron, and $\tau$-lepton properties as of 2023}",
eprint = "2411.18639",
archivePrefix = "arXiv",
primaryClass = "hep-ex",
doi = "10.1103/x87q-tld5",
journal = "Phys. Rev.",
volume = "D113",
number = "1",
pages = "012008",
year = "2026"
note = "{with specific result from \href{https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.19446771}{{\texttt{doi:10.5281/zenodo.19446771}}}}"
}
As of now, not all results are available in Zenodo (the full upload will happen by the end of October 2026). If you need to cite results not available in Zenodo yet, please change the field "note" in BibTeX to
"note = "{with online updates at \href{https://hflav.web.cern.ch/}{{\texttt{https://hflav.web.cern.ch/}}}}"
